Here are some example images for you to check out, we ask that all images must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to your visit. Even if your van is due for a conversion with another fitter please send these images as they will help us to spot anything regarding your order that may not fit perfectly with your van type or modifications.
preparing your floor
Here are a few tips to prepare your floor (if applicable) prior to your arrival. If you are having your floor fitted on top of a VW rubber matt floor with d-rings then please ignore the following.
To allow us to properly secure your floor without using d-rings we need ideally 12mm batons bonded to the floor with pink grip/sikaflex or similar, if you are unsure if you should be doing this just ask us. In most VW's we use d-rings to install the floor over the existing rubber matt floor, most other vans will require batons to fix.
We recommend laying 2mm dodomat sound deadening where you would like, then strips of 12mm thick batons bonded to the metal floor (see image below). You can then layer dodo mat pro liner 7mm adhesive insulation ontop.
Why dont we do this for you?
It takes time for the batons to bond and seal which means longer for you to wait to have your van fitted, plus its a good skill to learn if you havent ever done this before.
see our image examples of the ideal amount of prep work, batons are fitted and insulation added over the top with tape over the baton positions. We love this!!!

preparing your walls or roof
Here are a few tips to prepare your walls or roof (if applicable) prior to your arrival. If you arent having wall or roof panels fitted by us then please ignore the following.
The main thing to think about is the gaps along the roof, upright areas that our panels dont cover around the tailgate area. We would recommend making sure that these areas are carpeted and that any areas behind our panels are insulated as desired.
